Lights, Camera, Action!

You wouldn’t believe how busy the grade 1/2s have been while filming their stop motion films.

In each scene we have been aiming to use a minimum of 100 photos. Some groups have taken hundreds of photos per scene!!!

The teamwork and cooperative learning has been exceptional and the students have been doing a great job managing their own teams. They have been:

  • Respectfully taking turns
  • Speaking and listening respectfully to one another so that everybody has their say
  • Negociating
  • Allocating and sharing jobs
  • Using their time efficiently
  • Ensuring they have set the iPads up correctly
  • Using the iPads in a careful and sensible manner
  • Framing their scenes correctly by moving the camera forwards or backwards
  • Moving the characters and props in small increments
  • Problem solving
  • AND being responsible for the completion of their own work

We are sooooo PROUD of their responsible and mature behaviour, not to mention their creative, digital work!!!

Congratulations kids, we’re almost at the finish line!
