Betty’s literacy group has started to look at the genre of historical fictions. We made our way up to the library and found a book each we could study over the next few weeks. We have looked at how to build a character profile and started taking notes.  We are being character detectives looking for our character’s likes and dislikes, family, hobbies, favourite things, personality traits, strengths and so forth.

As a class serial we have just met Margaret Ann, who is about to board the Titanic.

Hello world!

Welcome the the collective One Twos at Bell blog!

We are super excited to launch our new blog that 1/2 staff will collectively contribute to each week.  This will be the ideal place to check out what we have been doing at school…see the classroom in action and most importantly be able to ask students about speific things that you discover. No more of…”What did you do at school today?” and getting the answer…” Nothing!”

We hope you enjoy the window into our world!

Purpose of Blog:
Parent window into our classrooms.
Showcase of our daily school life.
Strengthen the link between home and school.

Aim: To extend the already existent communication strategies in place. Including a 1/2 newsletter twice each term, class distribution lists and inclusion of information in Bell News.
